Scout & Co is a perfectly curated shop, selling the coolest kids clothes, toys you don't mind cluttering up your house, decor that is supposed to be for kids but is really for grown ups and they even sell a few treats for mums - where i recently got my awesome snakeskin backpack from.
Here are the facts and what Scout & Co has to say about themselves:
NAME OF BRAND/COMPANY: Scout & Co (scoutandcokids.com)
DATE IT WAS FOUNDED: October 2014
BY WHOM IT WAS FOUNDED: Three mamas and good friends, Nicky, Fiamma and Gemma. We have six kids between us, aged 6 months to 6 years. We each bring different experience to the business, as we come from editorial, fashion and retail backgrounds respectively.
WHY WAS IT CREATED: We wanted to create an online kids' lifestyle store that was the antidote to throwaway plastic, stereotypical pink and blue or just plain twee children's products that you don't want cluttering your home. Hence Scout & Co was born: it's full of beautiful, design-led products that both kids and adults love. Everything we stock, we love and want in our own homes (and have probably succumbed to buying...).
WHAT WE NEED TO KNOW ABOUT YOUR BRAND: Scout & Co is an award-winning online destination all about design for kids you love. We stock cool clothing (up to age 6 for now), decor, creative toys and beautiful books. It's a one-stop shop for gifts, with lots of inspiration for baby showers, new babies and birthdays. Plus we have a section full of cool stuff for grown-ups too. We stock brands like Mini Rodini, Beau Loves, Design Letters, Fine Little Day, Tiny Cottons, Oeuf, Indikidual, Etre Petite, Kukkia and lots more. It's really important to us to offer something unique to our lovely customers, so we also spend a lot of time searching out new brands and were thrilled to launch several cool brands exclusively in the UK, like Diapers & Milk leggings, Mint Rhapsody Perspex dolls houses and Twig wooden toy cameras.
WHAT WE SHOULD BUY FROM YOU: Obviously everything, but current faves include: Little Eleven Paris - we love the Disney mash-up designs and the Star Wars pieces are flying out. Kitpas - brilliant creative toys from Japan (markers that write on glass or on the bath and wipe off, blackboard building blocks). Beau Loves oversized dresses, Nailmatic nail polishes from Paris for kids (water-based, wash off in warm water) make awesome gifts. And we love the colours in the grown-up range, too. Diapers and Milk gorgeous monochrome print leggings.
