I have many passions in life including festivals, skiing and a good night out! I’ve been lucky enough to run some great events over the last few years. Take a look below to see what I’ve been up to. If you want to collaborate or invite me to your event, please get in touch at hello@dresslikeamum.com

Women Only Ski & Snowboard Trip

As I've got older I've found ski/snowboard trips harder to organise. I have been with my family a few times which has been incredible - but it didn’t feel the same. What I missed was a group of female friends who are as committed to skiing / snowboarding as I am, but who were in the same situation as me - in that they would love nothing more that being with the big sky at the top of a mountain, with some likeminded people enjoying all the fun that comes with it.

So I was delighted when I collaborated with my friends @kalumatravel and we decided to do something about it. Together we launched the annual WOMEN WHO SKI  (and snowboard) trip.

We first launched in 2020 but will be running again in 2022. The trips run from a Sunday - Wednesday in St Anton Austria – they take place in January and March. All levels and abilities are welcome, it is a luxury, fully catered trip and I can't tell you how much fun it was last year – Take a look at the pictures! Both trips sold out within 24hours of them being launched. Get in touch if you want to join us.

Sequins, Bingo and Breakfast

Camp Bestival is always one of my family's summer highlights. We go every year and it keeps getting better and better every year. 2021 was also an extra special year as we have all been starved of festivals, friends, dancing, music and fun times in fields, so we arrived ready to give it our all and Camp Bestival was ready to give it back to us.

I am a big fan of Rob and Josie da Bank who host the festival and was delighted to be asked to collaborate and host an event there this year. ‘Sequins, Bingo and Breakfast’ was an amazing event offering something for everyone. We were joined by Boujee Bingo from Leah and Justin from a.family.of, Craft and badge making from my good friend Ladyland craft (aka Emma Scott Child), Nail painting from my good friends at Shoreditch Nails, plus face glitter from Jingo Events and Bubble Tea from the mighty Gemma from Gems Wholesome Kitchen.

As for the rest of the festival the music was incredible from Fat Boy Slim to music played on bicycle parts to live Drum & Bass at the wonderfully crazy Caravanserai - we danced to it all.

The kids field was packed with activities, shows, rides and of course my kids favourite - the biggest bouncy castle in the world. We LOVE this festival - there really is something for all the family. How many days until the next one?
