Little Prints Clothing is a cool, fun, mix of funky kids clothes and one of a kind African print fabric. Born out of a desire to create clothes that were fun and affordable for her son, Little Print Clothing sources limited edition fabrics from West Africa to hand make their clothes in London.

WHY WAS IT CREATED: I have found since having my son that it is really hard to find affordable, modern kids clothes that don't come in old fashioned generic colours. My mother in law is from Lagos, Nigeria and whenever she goes there she brings me back amazing block prints. I decided to use these to create some baggy trousers and a matching bandana bib for my son. These were popular with friends so I decided to create a range based on using West African prints but giving them a modern twist.

WHAT WE NEED TO KNOW ABOUT YOUR BRAND: Little Prints Clothing is an affordable range of clothing and accessories using West African prints contrasted with bold linings and pockets. Wherever possible I use 100% cotton. Everything is handmade by me. I try to make most of my clothes unisex. The clothes are light but lined so good for summer and winter. The trousers have an elasticated waist so they are easy for toddlers especially once they are potty training! I make clothes for sizes from newborn to 4-5 yrs. I make matching bandana bibs. The prints are still mostly sourced from markets in Lagos and some in London which means that most prints are limited edition and only lasts for 6 yards! Most items are made to order.

WHAT WE SHOULD BUY FROM YOU: Baggy Trousers are very popular - particularly the 'Jazz' print which has been a best seller! The scrunchies are going down really well - particularly at Crafty Fox Market in Peckham! Bandana bibs are popular as a cheap way to jazz up your baby's outfit! And name bunting has also gone well particularly for birthdays and christenings.
