I have always had massive respect and admiration for Jaeger as a brand - it exudes quality and heritage and as a company that has been around since 1884 when so many have come and gone, it must be doing something right.

Jaeger have recently opened a new store in London Marylebone and they invited me down to have a look. I didn't know what to expect but the first things that struck me was how colourful, contemporary and modern it was.

The products are undoubtedly beautiful and chic, designed to perfection and of a quality that if looked after correctly will last a lifetime.

I was immediately attracted to this bright red coat - it is super bright and so well cut, a real statement coat suitable for so many occasions. It is currently only available in the Marylebone store but will be online in a couple of weeks - I will add the link when it is.

The other thing I love are these perfect leather trousers, they are definitely an investment but I feel that price per wear would be low because they are so perfect!

I wore them with this simple black jumper with sequins on it - it's like a subtle Christmas jumper that can be worn all year around, dressed up or down and is just a bit more interesting that a plain black one.

This leopard print cross body bag is another wardrobe staple, the perfect size and you can also tuck the strap in and wear it as a clutch too.

My late Grandmother wore Jaeger and she was a very stylish woman.  My mother and her are the reason I love clothes so much so being able to wear a brand that has featured in my family for generations really appeals to me and feels good.

Jaeger clothes are the the type that have the ability to transform plain outfits into stylish ones and I intend to own more of them!

This post was kindly sponsored by Jaeger. My love and respect for them is genuine.

Taylor Wren focus on beautiful, well made, socially concious clothes for women who prefer to buy classic, long lasting pieces.

Taylor Wren is a new brand founded by a husband and wife team who create timeless clothes and acessories for modern women. Taylor Wren's premier collection is beautifully refined, perfectly curated and focuses on quality not quantity.

I love this Liberty print skirt and top - it fits so perfectly and can be worn together or separately, for example the top with jeans or the skirt with a t-shirt. Because this is a skirt and top it would be a perfect breastfeeding outfit too (you would wear a vest under the top, the top top would lift up and the vest would pull down). I plan to wear this to a friend of mine's wedding in a couple of weeks, but would also wear it to work or a party.

Taylor Wren is the type of brand that you would never regret buying from, the pieces are so well made, classic and versatile that they would last a lifetime and surpass trends. Plus because most of the pieces are limited editions you are unlikely to meet anyone else wearing the same thing.

Here is some more information about this modern, classic brand:

BY WHOM IT WAS FOUNDED: Fran Taylor Wren and Simon Wren- newly wed husband and wife duo!

WHY WAS IT CREATED: To provide beautiful, thoughtful, well made and socially conscious clothing for the modern woman. Something that could be worn and loved season after season.

We were growing increasingly disillusioned with the 'fast fashion' concept of buying and wearing clothes, not to mention the increasing environmental impact of this type of buying. For the woman who is not dictated to by trend and can afford to spend a little more, it makes sense to invest in key pieces to create an individual and lasting look.

WHAT WE NEED TO KNOW ABOUT YOUR BRAND: We are London brand with a passion for creating socially conscious clothing that not only looks great but feels great to wear season after season. Made for the modern woman, Taylor Wren provides the ultimate balance between perfectly polished and stylishly undone to create a capsule wardrobe that works anytime, anywhere.

WHAT WE SHOULD BUY FROM YOU: You should be buying everything from us of course- our debut collection is a capsule collection of 12 key distinctive and refined pieces that can be mixed and matched with each other but also with everything else in your wardrobe allowing you to both create and emphasis your own personal style.

In particular we think you should be buying the gorgeous Liberty printed pieces, inspired by the vibrant flora of an English meadow, resplendent in the spring sunshine, this bold painterly floral gives classic shapes a modern twist. Each piece made here in London and with only 30 of each available you're safe in the knowledge that you own a truly unique piece. / @taylorwrenltd

I recently did a Mother & Daughter shoot at Petersham Nurseries in Richmond West London with the very lovely and talented Polly from Little Kin. Polly is a lifestyle portrait photographer from London specialising in maternity, newborns, babies and families - but shes pretty amazing at fashion too. It was super fun, Polly made us feel really relaxed and i am SO pleased with the photographs.

Here are a few of my favourites and the links to the outfits.

Ethical Collection London stock a variety of stunning clothes, accessories and home-ware. All of their products have been carefully selected to ensure that they have been ethically and eco-sensitively sourced but at the same time are all high quality, well made and beautiful.

Ethical Collection was founded by Giovanna after she witnessed the positive effect of a charity project she worked on in the slums of Rio de Janeiro, and from her desire to promote artisans working ethically around the world, and to provide opportunities and to change the ways of fast fashion and its destruction of the planet.

I am a massive supported of ethical and sustainable fashion and products so i was excited to find a trusted company doing it so stylishly.

Here is a bit more info on the brand, how it all started and what we should buy from them (there are SO many nice things):

WHY WAS IT CREATED: The idea for Ethical Collection was born when I was working in the slums of Rio De Janeiro, running a charity to teach young women how to make bags from recycled materials, market them and sell them.

I saw first hand the direct positive effect that this project had on the women, their families and their communities, enabling the women to pay for their children to go to school. They took such pride in their work to their own benefit and to the benefit of their wider environment – and of course the bags were incredibly beautiful!

Ever since then, I v been looking for the perfect opportunity to promote artisans working ethically around the world and to provide opportunities. I am also deeply concerned that our fast fashion habits can create such pain and destruction in our world - we owe it to future generations to make eco-sensitive decisions so that we can preserve the world’s inherent beauty. So we developed Ethical Collection to provide a choice between fashion with a conscience and our usual fast fashion habits without - and most importantly to give consumers access to the most beautiful products from around the world!

We wanted to create a brand that would cater for all ages and have a diverse price range too. And while we feel that we have achieved that, we also feel we are only scratching the surface of the possibilities! We can’t wait to do more.

WHAT WE NEED TO KNOW ABOUT YOUR BRAND: Ethical Collection launched at the beginning of 2015 with a mission to widen and promote eco-sensitive fashion choices for customers with a social conscience.

We work with socially responsible international fashion brands and artisans who are passionate about producing beautiful contemporary clothing and accessories in an ethical and sustainable way. And we have a wide variety of stunning eco-luxury items - from minimalist contemporary clothing to fun pom-pom bags. We have something sustainably suitable for everyone, with a beautiful story behind each brand.

It is our priority to work with brands that make the welfare and safety of those working for them a priority, and concentrate on reducing harm to our natural environment. We also collaborate with communities and charities in the UK and abroad to develop new bespoke products and provide opportunities for artisans.

WHAT WE SHOULD BUY FROM YOU: PITUSA DRESS -The perfect bright summer dress,  PAPER THINKS - fantastic gifts made form recycled leather, BOHEMIA FEATHER SCARF - A unique accessories,  ORGANIC SLEEPWEAR - traditional hand block printing meets contemporary luxury sleepwear design,  RED SIREN CLUTCH - the perfect red bag!

One of the things i think about a lot (apart from kids, life, fashion etc.) is recycling. I worry about how much waste we produce - it bugs me so much when i take apart packaging to find part of it marked with a 'not currently recyclable'  what...? why not? that we are still using, manufacturing and then wasting all this material and plastic that has had such a short life is insane.

I believe, like every industry the fashion industry has to be challenged and accountable for the waste and environmental effects it has on this planet. It has to be responsible for the people who work in that industry and ensure that what they are doing is sustainable. I also believe that consumers need to be aware and better informed of where and how their clothes are produced.

The film The True Cost is a film that explores the cost of the fashion industry on people and the planet.

There are a few brands that are pioneering new fabrics, who ensure fair trade working conditions and that aren't compromising style. One of those is Deborah Campbell Atelier who among other things has launched a collection of dresses and tops made from Newlife fabric, which is an Italian yarn manufactured from recycled plastic bottles.

I recently got this blue top from her and i love it - its super soft, fits perfectly and individual.

Deborah Campbell Atelier has committed to being a sustainable business without compromising style, design or quality. Here the founder Deborah tells us more about her brand and whats important about it:
